PLAYSTATION®3 is the future.....NOW.......B_E_L_I_E_V_E

In someone's signature, I almost unconciously disregard most of what they say. And don't know about anyone else here, but when I see that I almost can never take that person seriously. Don't know why, its weird.

As for OT: Well, the PS3 has a great lineup this year, so in the games department the 360 is lacking for this year. But the idea that they don't have a big exclusive this year doesn't sound like Microsoft at all, and if Alan Wake and SPC release, I can see more then a 'splash' being made.

your not alone i feel that way as well and cant help but picture the people typing as this

probably not. sony always has big game coming up and none have been able to truly allow sony to take the lead. xbox 360 doesn't have anything really great yet, but i think that it will finish strong. i think that if goow 3, gt5, and uncharted 2 all sell at least 6 million each, then sony could make a comeback. if not, then they haven't won in my opinion. 8 mill behind is a long fight

The best selling God of War make it to 2.6 million and Uncharted didn't even make it to 2.5 so the chances of either of them hitting 6 million are probably slim.  GT5 though will be interesting and will likely decide the perception of the Playstation 3 for the rest of the generation.

When a hunk of plastic and silicone becomes sentient enough to accept anything, I accept my own defeat.

I agree God of War III won't sell 6 million copies,   IMHO with a full fledged, enjoyable multi-player it's still a longshot.   Although God of War the original did sell 3.21 million copies not 2.5.  And if you're being objective,  God of War II was released shortly before the PS3 actually came out so it kind of had it's legs cut off otherwise it's sales would probably be much higher.

Neither Sony nor Microsoft really has that many surprises to pull, i think. Alan Wake will battle Heavy Rain, but neither will go very far. GT5, if it hits this year, will outweigh Forza 3. God of War 3 will probably slide into next year, as will MAG. ODST will be big, but not zOMG big. Uncharted we know of, which will also do well enough on its own, but not blow up the universe

In short, neither has a definitive edge on the other from what we've seen. Only an E3 megaton from one side or the other could throw things into balance. Correct the image (put Nintendo back in), and you see that most of that growth the article speaks of will probably come from them, and i think Nintendo is best poised to have a stellar holiday season (but they do love to disappoint, so we'll see where that goes)

You pretty much took the words right out of my mouth.  I also love the people with sigs that mock this XD.

Maybe we will find out at E3!

ins't E3 in June? that like half the year gone already and everyone expects a ton of games to be announced coming out this year(???). MS might have many games to show at E3....but few for this year, more so for next year. And I expect a reiteration of games we already knew were going to be coming out for it.

Yet if Sony takes the price cut, keeps up with the games due this year, and release info of even more next year then they are set. Everyone know the only reason 360 gained it's momentum back was because of the price cut. 360 extended itself just enough out of the PS3's range to call itself a bargain against it.If Sony does another price cut they will most likely start selling ahead of 360.....again(not by unreasonable proportions though).

I say PS3 line up, 50 dollar price cut at E3, and another 50-100 dollar price cut around Christmas will assure Sony domination this year.

I wouldn't say MS has given up or isn't trying, just that Sony is trying harder then ever before.

The 360 has actually been doing well for itself this year.

If anything, you should be asking if the PS3 or Wii have accepted defeat, because the 360 is the system that has fought back the most.
