Actually I don't have complains about the new image, and I don't think they're quite kiddy, probably because I still love my transformers and I grown up with all that kind of stuff back in the 80's.

What does Madworld, house of the dead: overkill, The conduit, and many more on the way mean to you then?

| 1337 Gamer said: i agree. Nintendo's consoles have been suffering from lack of Quality 3rd party titles. However b4 the Nintendo fanboys kill me i will say that nintendos games are awesome but there has not been consistant quality 3rd party support since the SNES. Overall i agree with you and your experience is much like my own and i have found myself gravitating farther and farther from nintendo. However i would not say i will never be a nintendo fan again because they do make awesome games |
good post and sums it up.
nintendo core flagship games are awsome but you cant wait around for years untill the next batch of flagship games arrive. those in between titles must be great 3rd party titles which nintendo dont.

^I'm talking about the Wii here, not the DS. I have a few of those games too. Nobody compares to Nintendo when it comes to handhelds. Also, with handhelds, I'm not as worried about graphics and having a huge library since I usually just get a few games and use a handheld as something to pass some time. That's why it's not a big deal to me if there a lot of party games and such on a handheld.
This part isn't directed at you but a few people in this thread. I posted my honest feelings and it's fine and I expected people not to agree with me. What I find funny though is how offended some people seem to be by it. It's too bad that people have to come close to insulting someone for posting their opinion that was completely free of trolling/flaming.
| amp316 said: @ OP After you said that you spent several hours playing Friday the 13th on the NES I can understand how you went insane at an early age, and started to write posts like this. |
Haha, I had to quote this because I found it funny. Friday the 13th may be hated by AVGN and it I'll admit it was a mediocre game but with the Game Genie, it wasn't that bad. I actually liked that game. Nightmare on Elm Street too!

not you, the OP |
No, I didn't. As KylieDog pointed out, why would I or anyone else get banned for something along the lines of what I posted? Keep in mind, I like Nintendo and have a lot of respect for them if not that much interest any longer. Also, I wasn't trolling or anything that could even be considered close.
I'll come up with something better eventually...

Oh well you just made a very broad statement saying you were no longer a Nintendo fanboy, so I figured you were counting all of Nintendo's output, not just one segment of it. I don't like all of Nintendo's games either since not all are meant to be liked by the same demographics, but they are so varied across the board that it's hard not to love at least some of the stuff they do. I suppose I can understand if it's based on the Wii, but why wouldn't the DS at least make up for that? It's hard to blame Nintendo for putting their efforts behind the 100 million selling handheld as opposed to the 50 million selling console.
That's alot of games. You think he's rich?
