This one's a TV show, but I found it quite annoying:

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Final episode of the season, and possibly of the series. They brought back Derek, except he's an altered-future Derek who doesn't know John. This WOULD have been a jaw-dropping awesome revelation... if they didn't show his name in the opening credits.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

Metal gear solid 2 when emma tells otacon she loves him( i mean they are brother ans sister you know) and then you find out their dad suicided because he found otacon and emma's mother doing the horizontal mambo. I have no idea what kojima tried to achieve with that but seen that and seen raiden and snake in the back feeling just as awkward as i was, man that was really weird and was not a bit emotional nor dramatic
