2. It should be lowered to 16 immediately. You can get taxed at the age of 16 but you can't vote until you're 18. That is taxation without representation.

I would even lower it further, to the age of 14.

in the UK, you have to be 18 for most things too, but you can have sex and pay taxes at 16

but we dont have to pay taxes till your 18 here.

but i also think you are right, if you pay taxes you should be able to vote.

no, but it is illegal(in virginia at least) to have the opposite gender the room(sleeping over).

Sweden,

1. voting age is 18.

2. It should be 20. Most kids arent mature enuff to decide political stuff.

Just look at how extremist kids usually are politically, u got unproportional amounts of these extreme radicals, like rite wingers, commies, anarkists, tree huggers etc.

A kids mind is usually too idealistic and thus unrealistic. When he gets older, he gets more fair and balanced.
