i dont care much about driving and the ability to drink besides all the type of driving i do is illegal on the street i find myself spending more time at my drag strip more than on the street

oh yeah i forgot about the school work it didnt bother me to much

i feel jealous sometimes wen these epic games come out now there were not to many wen i was growing up all this 3D and blood and gore and even the realism with the physics i can see why there is a bigger age group than ever b4

I think the survey has to be taken with a grain of salt. The average age sounds extremely high to me, especially considering that 34 % claim to play every day.

This makes me think that the survey includes simple PC and cell phone games, or it didn't specify in the questions so that many people included such games in their answers.

Also, the thing about popular genre's seems strange because Action is the most popular one, but shooters are mentioned seperately. This makes me wonder what "Action" includes.

It says here that girls make up nearly half of gamers, so don't let it surprized you.  I got pwnd just yesterday by a chick in warzone.

In fact, it's quite a small segment of the gaming populace. The largest would be, of course, the USA, followed by the UK and Japan tied.

I just say that it changes the picture quite a bit wether these games are included or not.
