I haven't been to my local Wal-Mart in awhile so I went down today to check out the video games. One of the first things I noticed is that the Wii section has been moved to the front where the Playstation games used to be and then after that is the DS section.

Games of note displayed on the second row down: Tenchu, Deadly Creatures, House of the Dead: Overkill, Dead Rising, MadWorld, MLB Power Pros

Some other games I saw on display: Rune Factory, Okami, Chobo's Dungeon

I noticed two GameCube games still there at the bottom with 'plays on wii' stickers, Baten Kaitos (one copy) and Odama, both with pretty high prices.

Walmart has turned to crap imo..

What a horrible video game section they have, you cant compare it to best buy at all.

edit: Id also like to add, my walmart NO LONGER sells psp's, or ps2's

It might be just my local Wal-Mart. I'm not sure how it all works. There is still crap there, but it is usually better than Target.

The Walmart near me has 3 sections for the wii and a really good selection of games including Madworld and goodies but oldies like Resident Evil 4. The closest in terms of size is the 360 and DS which each have 2 sections. (PC might be bigger, but it's not in the same isle).

thanks for the info. im going to walmart to shop for wii games since i cant find those u mentioned in other stores, not even gamestop.

I think you can check their website to see if it is in stock.

PSPs and PS2s are no longer selling so walmart has to make room for things that do sell, like WiiFit.
