Forums - Sales - Japanese 360 niche releases - Finding some consistency?

Lead develop on PS3... and port to 360 (no idea for Wii). Easier and less demanding than the other way, and it'll bring you more profit.

Yeah BobSagat FFXIII is not coming to the 360 in Japan, a game which will sell more PS3's then all the 360 JRPG exclusives did together this generation.......x3 :O, really does seem a lost cause for MS.

Well that's like comparing Halo's sales to lesser known FPS games. Final Fantasy and Pokemon dominate the RPG market.

These are mostly PC and Arcade ports and are made by a handful of people so 360 is the best choice (ease and power)

I will never understand why they are 360 exclusive. Too niche for MS to pay for them, and the PS3/Wii have a far higher userbase.

3:1 Ratio isn't "far" higher imo, especially when it's only a 2 million lead.

Of course it is. You still get some crazy ratios. Look at PES 09. The PS3 version outsold the 360 one by more than 20:1.

EDIT: Make that 15:1.

That's becouse it's extremly easy to port them from PC to X360. Think about them in terms of cheap cash-in porting.

Ah I get it, I thought these were new games, but porting a PC game to the 360 is indeed easier.
