Sorry if I am missing many, but this why I personally believe it is crazy to say Lost Odyssey is the best JRPG ever.

That list there contains 32 games. Depending on how the game finishes off and how much I enjoyed it, it could end up anywhere on that list. Could be top 10, top 15, top 20, who knows.

It is the first Tales game that I absolutely love so it may end up Top 15-20 with ease.

 

No not that. I know your going to end up love the hell out of ToV. It just that i can't believe you have over 30 favorite jrpgs. I have at most a top 15 but a top 30?!!!!!!!!!

 

thats not really shocking to me, since i played most of his list (Except Terranigma , havent heard of it). that "Top RPG" thing doesnt exist each game is a classic on its own. and those games go way beyond 30 :]

Well since the SNES version got 95.10% average, while Lost Odyssey got 79.09%. Therefore your opinion is the weakest, sir.

Just curious, how many JRPG titles have you played? I know I have played over 100 JRPG titles spanning about 15 years.

I also do not think Chrono Trigger is the greatest ever, but I certainly think it is better than LO.

Plus, there is a difference between "It is my personal favorite" like I always do with SaGa Frontier and you saying "It is the best JRPG ever".

Not to try and sound like a dick, but it really is FAR from being anywhere near deserving of a "Top 10 all time" list.

It's not really the fact that he thinks they suck, it's more that he's played +-40 of them despite thinking that they suck...

Because I really liked one of them and wanted more. I also liked some genesis jrpg:s.

No SNES games = fail. Too few PS1 games, this guy obviously hasn't been playing RPGs very long.
