wow i really dont want to know if you are serious or if this is trolling

please explain to me why you would want to return a perfectly good game like this because it has no trophies? this is such a mystery what people see in this nonsense and noone ..noone i asked could explain it to me

i can see why some people are interested in trohpies but to value a game by wether or not it has them is just insanely idiotic.. no really it is meant to be a gimmik so why are they so important to you?`hel me solve this great mystery

oh and warhawk and counter strike are meant played online the singleplayer is just a tutorial so of course its what makes those games great

Oh I AM serious. I returned Fallout 3 because it had no trophies like it suposed to ( and because of some other stuff as well )

Because RPG's with no trophies and no online have no replay value.

Because they are cool and fun and every game should have them.

I never get tired of people's reaction when they finally play Valkyria Chronicals for the first time .

So? then buy it, play it and return it?  Then at least you'll be able to say you've played one of the best games of this generation so far. Besides, the game sort of has a built-in trophy system (with medals).

And just to prove you wrong about trophies: it doesn't make you a good gamer, it makes you a gamer that 1) has a lot of time 2) checks the trophy to make sure to know what the requirements are and then goes to fulfill them 3) for a few trophies indeed has a bit of skill. Don't claim to be reason three when most trophies are reason 1 and 2. They are a nice addition but nothing more.

Again, if that's what is holding you back from this title: Buy it, play it, return it. You will have had a good game, you will have supported a wonderful game (of which the maker is thinking about making a sequel) and someone else will be able to pick up your copy for cheap, giving another gamer the chance to experience this wonderful game.

@BladeOfGod: I get that you like trophies. However, refusing to buy a game because it doesn't have trophies makes me think you actually value them over much more important game aspects. They add replay value, but their omission is hardly a deal breaker for any game you're interested in, let alone one that's among the best on any current gen system.

I just felt compelled to quote this post for some strange reason.

1. Buy it for $29.99
2. Play an awesome game.
3. sell it on ebay once price jacks back up to $59.99 or when it becomes a rare collectible.
4. ??????
5. Profit!

C'mon man, this is a golden opportunity.
Don't miss out on it.

Although I understand the appeal of trophies, especially in Killzone 2.
( Just need a few more ribbons and beating radec in elite and I have my platinum.)
Missing out on this would really be a shame.

I think you should still look into the game, maybe as a rental, I can understand where you are coming from, one of my friends is exactly the same. Also Majority of you stop picking on him because he doesn't want to waste money on something that won't produce value to him.

1) I dont need lots of time to get some trophies. I only have 1 platinium trophy and that's in uncharted and i needed over 4 months to get that one, so i dont have THAT much free time. I usually collect them on weekends and  when i have no school.

2) Well, yeah, that's how you collect trophies

3) That depends. If those trophies are like those online trophies in KZ2 and Warhawk than NO!! But i DO collect those hard trophies in Bioshock like ''Brass Balls'' and ''Man chooses''

Dude I made top 1% in multiplayer in KZ2 just to get my gold trophy and that took effort and skill.
