I think it works both ways. Sony puts facebook features in some games, so they help to advertise facebook.
Facebook puts PS3 stuff on their site, so they help to advertise PS3.

Take a guess at the size of Facebooks userbase. Now compare it to the size of the PS3 userbase. Now tell me who got the most out of the deal, Facebook or Sony?

Even if Sony's userbase was 1 person, Facebook would only have something to gain rather than lose.

Regardless of who is bigger, both have something to gain here.
Facebook is expanding by doing this.
White Knight Chronicles was said to have a "Facebook like" feature in it's online.
Sony said they are already working on putting this in games.
I wouldn't be surprised if WKC did have this Facebook feature when it releases in the West.
