ok i see but advertisment costs money and facebook advertisment wont come cheap.

I think it works both ways. Sony puts facebook features in some games, so they help to advertise facebook.

Facebook puts PS3 stuff on their site, so they help to advertise PS3.

Facebook would be getting screwed if that's the case.

Well I'll just add this to the list of reasons I'll never use FaceBook.

Along with the fact that it was partially bankrolled by an ex leader of the CIA?

Please come with me Mr, City17, these topics are of high sensitvity and concern National Security.

That's... kinda cool I guess?

Feels like a stab in the back to Home though.

Great for people who feel the need to brag though.

Unless there was good Home integration with Facebook. You never know, it could benefit Home

Why exactly would they be getting screwed?

Take a guess at the size of Facebooks userbase. Now compare it to the size of the PS3 userbase. Now tell me who got the most out of the deal, Facebook or Sony?

Well then I guess Sony is smart.

I didn't say it would all free though, just that the deal wouldn't cost a HUGE amount like one user in here thought.

Even if Sony's userbase was 1 person, Facebook would only have something to gain rather than lose.

Regardless of who is bigger, both have something to gain here.

Facebook is expanding by doing this.

White Knight Chronicles was said to have a "Facebook like" feature in it's online.

Sony said they are already working on putting this in games.

I wouldn't be surprised if WKC did have this Facebook feature when it releases in the West.
