The final preorders for the FFXIII demo packaged with the FFVII movie appear to be about 130,000, and frankly I'm not exactly sure how to scale the orders for a) a big Square-Enix game on PS3 thats b) a demo and $59/$600 in bundle form.

So it could be substantially higher or lower than that, but if it was a normal game I'd be comfortable with 130,000 as the final figure.

Assuming the figures are ballpark (and we'll know soon with Day 1/Sinobi info) any thoughts on how high PS3 will jump? I'd wager 32k-35k but it will depend on the demo really.

It's going to be a white PS3 most probably which is what he has his heart set on. My dad just wants me to be there because the last time he went to pick up a 360 with my little brother the kid spent enough at the end to get 2 360's. Boy is so spoilt, I need to be there to make sure his moaning gets him nothing but the PS3 + Yakuza 3 + FF AC + FFXIII demo...............as if that is not enough. +_+

It's staying in Tokyo though obviously since they are all there, the back to the UK for another 2 years followed by staring down people's gobs for the rest of my days. -_-

The shocker is 360, anyone know what caused the rise? Either way once golden week is done I cannot see the 360 going above 7k and PS3 12k.

EDIT: With that "The Best" lifetime data, its well over 170k now!

I wonder how long it can keep anime effect :) with more than 10 weeks of air time left it can hit 200k in Japan soon.

Famitsu has Wii with 2k advantage , VGC and media create numbers then should have both consoles within few hundred units diffrence.

media create is probably gonna have them really close, but likely the average of the 2 will show the wii ahead. 2 weeks ago famitsu had the wii and ps3 the same so that week and this week will likely be statistical ties.
