You're joking about ME, it is the opposite of PoP, PoP you are hand guided through the game, and left to enjoy the scenery, whereas ME you have to get your jumps precisely right, you can control everything in ME

Maybe it is because other people disagree with you, and thought it was a great game |
I suppose a games "greatness" is determined by your standards.
They would definately could do some version of this engine on the Wii the question is do they want it, i think it would achieve decent sales (at least as good as 360 version). But it would be much different engine because of Wii constraints. But using Wii controls would be quite cool.
PoP did underperform a bit on HD conosoles (maybe due to cell shaded visuals?)
I liked the last PoP quite well.
And it's nothing like Miror Edge, I don't even understand the comparison.
In ME you have full control of everything and the game doesn't tell you which path to follow as part of the game is finding short cuts to save time....

from metacritic:
9. Playstation 3: Prince of Persia (2008) 85
Ubisoft
10. Xbox 360: Prince of Persia (2008) 81
Ubisoft
Mid 80's is more than a mediocre game. A game's greatness is determined by how most people perceive it. So you can go off and right a user review of it right now, but that does mean that everyone is going to share your view. Many, many people enjoyed that game, clearly the OP would like to see the game on his platform

Ok, sorry, I shouldn't be talking about games I hardly played. I didn't like Mirror's Edge - but I admit I was confused by the control scheme, I found it very unintuitive and frustrating. Seemed to me like the type of game that has you learn dozends of button commands first. Maybe I should have spent some more time with that game, but nowadays I quickly lose interest if a game is not as accessible as Mario :)
Currently playing: NSMB (Wii)
Have you even played the new Prince. It's gorgeous and it would be impossible to see it on the Wii in its current state.
Not a 360 fanboy, just a PS3 fanboy hater that likes putting them in their place ^.^
Thanks for all your opinions. My conclusion based on your posts:
1.It would be too much stress to re-do the game for wii & it moght not be such a profitable venture.
2.If it was initially done from the ground up for the wii,the wii would handle it.
3.The game isn't that fun anyway bcuz it feels scripted.
The review of the downloadable content said that that was corrected so I suppose it won't be a problem if they were 2 do a wii version now.I guess the wii can take it if they tried hard.Look at some of the best efforts on the PS2 & Gamecube.
