I picked up Radiant Dawn for twenty dollars, brand spanking new.

This is probably the best potential hours:dollars ratio ever.

Just give me a couple more weeks and I will play PoR first.

I'm starting to change which classes I prefer.

I started out only liking light units (generally swordfighters and mages), whereas now I'm more of an all-arounder. I checked my original FE7 save... Not 1 single axe-user.

I still prefer my mages though. Valkyrie is my favourite class I guess. It's either that or Swordmaster.

A few things about FE6 (still just early in). I'm shocked to find I had forgotten everything about this game.

Roy is TERRIBLE. He's essentially like Lance and Alan (the classic start Cavaliers), except that he has half the def.

I guess he gets better, but having to babysit a Lord feels odd.

Lugh rocks. He's like a Myrmidon that uses magic.

The characters aren't nearly as loveable as in the other FEs.

Wait, you didn't even have Hector?

Didn't use. I never let anyone die, but I never levelled Hector originally (he even has a Heaven Seal in his invetory, as a lv 8 Lord)

Alrighty, that was fun. Just finished Hector's mode (the one I started yesterday). Fun stuff.

Lyn -> Eliwood -> Canas -> Athos -> Hector -> Dead final boss

You people are way too fast for me. I still haven't made it to Hector Hard Mode yet, as I'm playing Lyn Hard Mode.

Also I'm intermittently playing Dragon Quest IV.

Is Canas still useful in HHM?

Roy doesn't get better.

I like the FE6 characters myself.  Thanny, Miledy, and Echidna are all great.  And there's always Gonzales.

Why wouldn't he be?  You still get him and his growths are still great.  Plus there's always Eclipse.

I'd heard he was hard to train. There's a HHM guide that recommends not using him.

That idea terrifies me. I can't imagine facing some of the Black Fang without Luna.
