Oh, and just skip Fiona and the Pegasi knights. They're not very usefull in FE7. Pick one of the cavaliers instead.

Say whaaaaaaaaaaaaat?

The pegasus knights are excellent mage killers and great at controlling the battlefield - flying units are super rad to have!

Well, it might be my way of playing.

There's essentially too many archers for a while, making the pegasi knights less useful. If you use them, you're essentially increasing your chance of wiping a lot.

It also takes a long, long time before you get the "no bonus from archers" (I forgot what it's named, and when you get it in FE7), and when you do, they're not really a lot more useful than the cavaliers.

Still, bringing along one might not be a bad idea (I'm levelling up Fiora now).

Edit:

Oh, and bringing down mages is pretty piece of cake in this game. Use a mage/healer to pull them, then nuke them with someone else. Heal the second character.

That works when there's several too.

I guess I could leave behind Florina for now. If I want to level one later I can just abuse the arena, I suppose...

All right I'll leave her be for now.

Actually, don't.

Pegasi knights are hell to level in arenas.

Unless you cheat with Ninian's Grace!

How would you do that?

The way it works is that if a character is rescued with the effect of Ninian's Grace, then they'll still have it when they're dropped.

So you get two flyers, your dancer, and the character you want to level. Use Ninian's Grace on the fighter, then have them fight. Rescue them, then end turn. Dump them back on the entrance to the colisseum (this is why you have to use flyers), where Ninian's Grace will still be in effect. Dance so that they can go in and fight again - then rescue them with your second flyer.

It becomes a cycle of dropping, dancing, and rescuing. It's very much an exploit, though, and considered cheating by some.

The arenas just begged to be abused. I'm glad Radiant Dawn didn't have any.

I really hate peg knights.

Nevermind.

You need Pegasi knigts (at least 1) in a few levels. If you lack them, you'll be in trouble.

So, level a Pegasus knight (or more).

See, I thought so. I'm leveling the Hell out of Florina right off the bat, then.

Should I use Rath or Wil? Hm.
