Yet somehow the PS3 only sold 6k less than the 360 at twice the price.  I thought MS dropped the 360's price to compete with the Wii.  That plan isn't working either.

I love these stupid i was at a store saw this sell x amount and the other sale none it must be doing bad BS.  You clearly never worked in retail.

 It may have something to do with shipments... at my local walmart we sell out and sometimes we go a couple days before we get more units... and they are usually Arcades... haven't seen a pro in almost a week... don't want to start any rumors, but is anyone else seeing this in the US?

 I work at retail and our 360s sell 2-3x as much as our PS3s... this is more of a local phenominom as 360s sell nearly as briskly here as our Wiis do, but the same point is made.  On a bad week the 360 still outsells the PS3...

I just find the logic of some PS3 owners amusing.

You know like hey it,s the PS3 so it has to be superior in every way including sales.

It is a gaming console that is no better or worse than the 360.

KZ2 Gears 2 whatever what is the difference really.

I know it has BR but you have to pay for it wether you want it or not and that is there problem.

The average Joe wants a gaming console to play games and at present the libraries are no better on either.(altough tbh I personally think 360 library is better at the moment).

169 for arcade and 399 for PS3 is one hell of a difference by any standards.

I happen to agree the PS 3 is a good console but at the present price it will not out sell 360 imo.

omg did u even click my link? sales were adjusted and the ps3 and 360 have been practially identiall for 6 weeks...

$99 PS2 is up 50% in America and 15% WW, not a miracle as absolute numbers, but even at $99 its profit margin is quite high and then there are SW sales, the week before the cut they were still over 400k WW.
