^$200 price point still makes it the cheapest this gen at the moment. Not that it reflects on the sales kind of lately, though...

I am just surprised by how long the effect has been going. I laughed when Microsoft called it the "magic price point", but I'll be damned if it doesn't seem to be right at this point in time.

Hah, might as well be a quote from Sony.  Come on guys, drop the price!!  Actually, I think they're content with steady boosts from big releases through the holidays when they'll explode the shit with a price drop.
