Forums - General - car accidents

Once, a few years ago.

My mom was driving on a wet road, and she spun out of control, and the car flipped to the side of the road.

i was sleeping the whole time...

But nothing happened to any of us, or the car.

whaat? no way? was the siren on?

My daughter is my world.

I have not been in one, but my Gran was killed a couple of years back by some idiot who fell asleep at the wheel and mounted the pavement... He died too.

I'm glad to hear you are OK and that the baby is fine.

Yeah, but my music was louder. It drove onto the pavement to get around a jam, but saw me at the last minute.

I was in a fairly bad accident when I was a little child. I don't remember much other than crying in my seat

other than that, no bad car accidents, but two motorcycle accidents. The first was 100% my fault when I went to make a left turn I turned into the side of a pickup truck. no injuries, just lots of broken motorcycle.

The second I blame on the retard who decided that when his pickup truck failed that stopping it in the middle lane of the highway was a good idea. The SUV traveling in front of me blocked my view, and then swerved to the right last second. I tried to swerve to the left but my front wheel broke free from the pavement. Luckily I missed the truck myself and I had motorcycle gear on and escaped with 1 stomach rash (jacket rode up) and only the skin on my left knee got ripped off (extremely painful for the next few months).

They both seriously made me paranoid while driving for the next 6 months or more.

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

Im too scared to drive on a motorcycle

I was in a horrible accident as well. It was 9 years ago on a Sat, between 12 and 1 A.M. I was driving my car, a 1998 Z28 Camaro, and I was T-boned on the passenger side by a drunk driver doing about 50mph, totaled my car. I broke my collarbone, arm in 2 places, wrist & 2 ribs all on my right side. Plus I also had a severe concussion.

But after my settlement and after all the physical therapy, I went out and bought me a Corvette.

I've slid off the road twice at 60MPH when driving on icy winter roads, and both times the car got crushed but I didnt even get a scratch.

Cars are so safe these days that you seldom get any serious injury.
