So I bought Persona 4 two days ago, and I was thinking about how, although it's a small collection, I had nearly completed my PS2 collection, I nearly have all the games I want. This got me thinking, soon it might be really hard to get the games I want. It's starting to get harder to find some games. Do I have all the games I wanted to get? Am I missing anything in my collection that will be really hard to get years down the track?

My questions to you are:-

1 - Did you get all the games you wanted for your Dreamcast, Gamecube, Xbox or PS2? Are you going to get them?
2 - What games are left for you to buy on the console(s) you own, if you don't already have a complete collection?
3 - Did you wish you had another console, other than the one you had, to play other games on?

Feel free to chuck in anything else you want to say.

Here are my examples.

1. I think I'll be able to complete my PS2 collection. I haven't got all of them yet, but I think it will be possible to get them for a little while. If I don't, I may be a little dissapointed, but I'm pretty happy with the games I own now.

And I have a wii now, and I would like to be able to play Super Smash Bros. Melee on it some day.

1. pretty much yes, i had 65 PS2 games at peak, i only have 49 left (trade ins/broken disks)

2. for my PS2 i got pretty much all the games i wanted, there were probably some i didnt get, but i cant remember them offhand

3. i only had a PS2, if i had had the money, i would have got all the other consoles and games for them.

1. Yes I did, i dont think I couls have played anymore games than I had, I had 200 PS2 games, 20 xbox games and 5-6 GC games. No Dreamcast.

3. I had 3 of the 4, so I think that is enough.

One of these days I am going to update my game collection on here to show all of the games I had.

1 - Not even close. My PS2 collection stands at 52 games ATM, in the last 3 days I bought Suikoden III, Persona 4 with an artbook, and Growlanser Generations Deluxe ed.

2 - I'll be buying lots more... Onimusha, DMC2, SMT: Devil Summoner, Suikoden V, .//hack series, Tales of the Abyss, Tales of Legendia... my PS2 collection could end at 100 games... who knows. God bless the PS2 :D

3 - Nah. I have a PS2 and a Gamecube, they are the prime consoles of the 6th gen for me.

No, it'll take me years to complete my PS2 collection.

I only have Persona 4 and Skies of Arcadia Legends. Still playing them both.
I just got the ps2 from my friend and I plan to get myself couple of more games. I'll probabaly also end up getting few GC games.

I have all but one game that I wanted for the Gamecube. I'm missing Rogue Squadron 3

The only game I kinda wanted for the PS2 but never bought was Gran Turismo 4. I played the demo of it and didn't like it as much as I liked Gran Turismo 2 or 3.

As for the Xbox, the only game I really loved on it that I should have bought was Crimson Skies.  That game was well worth the 40$ I spent on the used Xbox I have.

I had about 65 PS2 games overall, but I sold most of them, something that I have regretted doing over the past few years I have rebought:

SW BF 1 & 2

I would still like to buy/rebuy

That will put me up to a decent total of 39

After that I will have to start buying some old PS3 games, some that I shouldn't have sold, some that I just borrowed and I want to own, but I do fear I am becoming obsessive

Oh, and I forgot about 3, I would be interested in playing Jade Empire, KOTOR and Fable, but I am not sure if it is worth it given that I still have to play SO3, and I don't want to just have 3 Xbox games in my collection

I'd still like to get Blue Stinger (DC), Dino Crisis (DC/PS), Ecco the Dolphin (DC), Silent Scope, (DC/PS2), Skies of Arcadia (DC/GC), Street Fighter 3 (DC/PS2), Animal Crossing (GC), Burnout (GC/PS2), Chibi-Robo! (GC/Wii?), Kirby Air Ride (GC), The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures (GC),Resident Evil: Code Veronica X (GC/PS2) (for the extras), Star Fox: Assault (GC), Timesplitters (PS2), Timesplitters 2 (GC/PS2), Timesplitters: Future Perfect (GC/PS2), Vampire Night (PS2)...

3. From last gen, I'm still missing the Xbox. If I were to get one, I'll try to get my hands on Jet Set Radio Future and maybe Fable, Ninja Gaiden Black, Oddworld: Stanger's Wrath.

As for playing and beating my current 6th gen collection, I'm also pretty far from it. I've still bought several Gamecube and Dreamcast games since the beginning of the 7th gen, that I haven't really played yet. And I bought my PS2 in 2008 and I've barely started playing all the games I bought for it.
