Demon-slaying MMORPG, set in the modern day?
If the subscription is covered by XBL Gold fees, I am all over it (and Gold again). Really looking forward to seeing more of this at E3..

With the money saved on not purchasing a 360 (And using the PC you already have) you could easily have a different console of your choice and play even more games. At that point, does it really matter? It's just another release date.

As I said, for 90% of people, it apparently does matter. Lets say a game with awesome multiplayer comes out, you want it at the same time as your friends, right? Once you get rid of that early-purchase factor, everyone's tired of the game before you get into it, and effectively you get less out of your purchase. I got Halo 3 at launch, and so did 10 people I know(within the first month or so). We had so many amazing nights with big team fights, custom games on lots of different settings, etc. That gave me more replayability/enjoyment than most of my other 360 games combined. If I was just getting to Halo 3 now, I would have a mediocre single player campaign, and the chance to play with some strangers, and not get a tenth of the enjoyment I had.
You're also making a number of major assumptions:
Assumption 1) That the computer is always available. Most families have a PC these days, but guess what? Everyone in the family probably uses it. Having a 360 and a PC allows more people to play at once. Also, a 360 supports 4 players in a large % of games. How many people does a PC entertain at once? Gears 4 splitscreen Coop on a PC? I think not.
Assumption 2) It's as fun to play at a desk with a much smaller screen than on a couch with your much larger TV.
Assumption 3) That you don't use the Xbox for anything else. I use my Xbox for a lot... I DL movies off of Live because I can watch them on my TV. I also use my netflix via xbox because if I wanna watch a movie, I wanna do it on a screen larger than 21''. It's also my DVD player.
In short, your arguments assume that someone enjoys playing the PC more than a console. If someone just likes consoles in general, they lose their traction.

I'm not sure I'm excited about this game after hearing all the bad things I heard about Age of Conan.
