Off topic : i like how microsoft comes out with MMORPGs after sony announced they're making 3 + MMORPGs xD

 

Did you read anything about the release? it's apparently been in development for a while, MS just didn't announce it way too early, like Sony does.

Wow is there more SONY fanboy posts in this thread than people who actually want this game. Every exclusive SONY releases their fanboys hype it to hell and when a game like this comes to the 360 there off trying soo hard to make it look crap.

No actually. PC is a open platform which includes systems from OSX to Windows based platforms to Unix based systems. The hardware is not owned by microsoft, and windows is only a medium, which you don't have to pay royalities unless you go under the "Games for windows" development.

Fanboys are funny really, they constantly want something, so they'll twist it to fit there own design. The game is not exclusive, and will look better on PC, get over it. You just  want to somehow make PS3 fanboys get mad over all the "exclusives" like bioshock!(PC, PS3, 360).... Mass effect!(PC 360, same with 2).... Gears!(PC 360) in fact most of the big hitters are multiplat, yet you would say exclusive, what kind of fucked up logic are you running?

PS3, 360, and WII are all personal computers. Console is just to describe they are meant for gaming and prebuilt.

 

PC is an open platform, but is this game going to run on Unix, OSX, etc? If not, it's still MS exclusive. Besides which, all those you listed, were at the very least timed exclusives, and guess what? 90% of their sales came from the 360. You could even say "Halo games go to the PC! Not exclusive! LULZ", but the fact remains that the 3 Halo FPS games have tallied over 23m sales on the 360, and calling them anything but exclusive is semantics.

The point is....more people have computers than video game consoles.  If you own even a relatively new PC (Like 4-5 years old),  you can run many of these new games on low settings if need be.   What is the point in owning a 360 if almost every title that peaks your interest can be played on another system?  

Why should you get to claim that it's "exclusive"  if a good amount of people easily can play it as if it were a non-exclusive?  This holds true for PS3/PC,  Nintendo/PC, or 360/PC games.

 

If they want to wait for it. As I said, those were timed exclusives, and 90% of the people that wanted it got them on the first platform. It is, to a large degree, why movie theaters are still in business. Sure my whole family can see that movie for a $5 rental... but we have to wait 6 months.

With the money saved on not purchasing a 360 (And using the PC you already have) you could easily have a different console of your choice and play even more games.   At that point,  does it really matter?  It's just another release date.

 

By your logic not many people should buy a 360?? So I guess explain why the 360 versions always outsell the PC versions???

Looks like it could be awesome! Definitely more into the girl drinking milkshake part than the generic demon/ katana part. This and Heavy Rain both make me wish people were willing to make adventure games that AREN'T horror-themed these days. Hopefully Alan Wake...

 

 

*edit* sounds like this is an MMO made by the people who did Age of Conan...  so who knows what it will be like.  Could still be really cool.  That's some nice CGI in the trailer, though it did have a bit of that "I AM A ROBOT" quality in the girl's animations.

I do believ APB and Huxley were announced in '05. Though I'M NOT SURE, just so ya know.

I do believ APB and Huxley were announced in '05. Though I'M NOT SURE, just so ya know.

I also believe APB is PC exclusive with any console release, including PS3, still pending while Huxley has been put on hold for 360 to focus on the PC version. There is also Marvel Universe Online which was cancelled a year or two ago. Finally, there is Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures that is still waiting to see development in the 360 version with the PC version launching last year.

360 has a horrible track record for MMOs, with them being put on hold, releasing extremely late, or being cancelled all together.
