Imagine how many PS3 consoles would have been sold if Halo 3 would have been a PS3 exclusive.

Multi-platform developers will continue to support multiple platforms for as long as it makes sense to them or are provided crucial reasons not to do so. The 360 had a 1 year headstart on the market, it made sense to support it.
GTA IV development started well before there were mature PS3 development kits available. A PS3 exclusive GTA V could make sense, as Rockstar sees too many technical limitations with the 360 hardware for future games.
IMO Wii Fit wouldn't do as well on the PS3. The balance board gaming concept originates from the 80s, produced by Amiga Corp. The Wii just had the right audience and momentum for something like this to be successful.
COD4 is on the PS3 and per user sold roughly equally as well as the 360 version did (and much better compared to the PC).
Adult males likely with a family like me, my girlfriend and kid sister love it. Me and my adult male friends like the game as well.
I think MGS4 was an important system seller, probably the most significant one so far. In general even without a cut on entry pricing PS3 sales for 2008 were up considerably worldwide. Taking equal timeframes the PS3 is still well outtracking both PS1 and 360 sales, selling over 10 million units a year at a 400 dollar/euro entry pricing.
