Namco has "no information" on PS3 Tales Of Vesperia for US

Namco Bandai has told VG247 it has “no information” on a US launch of the PS3 version of Tales of Vesperia.

Namco confirmed the new SKU in Japan just last week.

It’s unknown if Europe will get the PS3 version.

Atari said in March that it’s to release the game in all PAL territories this June on Xbox 360.

The RPG was released in Japan last August for 360, helping the console achieve 25,000 sales in its launch week.

We’ll keep you up to date should things change, PS3 fans.

 

 

 

(They said the same thing though last June about Eternal Sonata, so i still have high hopes they will release this in the US)

Coming from Namco, I'd take that as good confirmation of a localization.

I would hope that they bring this along with Eternal Sonata.

It should get a US and PAL release, after all localization should be pretty cheap compared to the potential sales in the west.

Actually, considering the sales of Eternal Sonata and of Tales of Vesperia on the 360, I say that there are big chances that this game will never make it to the States.



How many cups of darkness have I drank over the years? Even I don't know...

Hopfully the rest of the 25-34 year old gamming population can enjoy Tales of Vesperia. As the PS3 has by far the oldest demographics according to neilson

I'm confused here since I'm 20. My little cousin is 14 and he has 3 friends his age who have a PS3 lol.

Yes it might be the main demographic but it isn't hard to beleive that there are  good healthy number of young PS3 gamers out there.
