Just curious.

I just beat R1 on Normal difficulty setting.  Tried Hard and died a lot in the first level (no health pack urgh :(...).

I am getting R2.  Do you guys goes back to play R1 after beating R2?  How often?  I am trying to decide if I want to keep R1 once I have R2.

Not a chance, I loved resistance fall of man, but no way can I go back to that game while resistance 2 is in the same house. Why? well because of the 8 player co-op and the new difficulty they just added, along with the new map pack and trophies. I love resistance fall of man, I really do, but let's be clear it is not better than resistance 2 (IMOB)

i didn't like r1 that much, so after playing r2 i don't touch r1, r2 is amazing specially online

I DO like R1 though. But one thing acts like a double-edged sword in R1 is the ability to carry multiple guns. Sometimes it is very helpful but other times it is just not necessary, and I had to cycle through the weapons to decide which one to use.

In your opinion, is the settings in R2 (carry two weapons at a time) better?

Way better, more realistc overall in my opinion.

I liked Resistance 1 a lot, but IMO Resistance 2 is way better in most ways.

I still recommend friends to play R1 first for its fun gameplay and interesting story telling, this to prepare for Resistance 2.

However since playing Killzone 2 this upped my desires for an FPS quite a lot. I am currently trying to finish COD: WAW, but graphically / audio wise and gameplay style, albeit still good overall is well below what was done with Killzone 2 for me. I think maybe I should have played that game before playing Killzone 2, this to be more forgiving (maybe the same will be true when returning to Resistance 2).

Can't wait for Resistance 3 and Killzone 3!
