Resident Evil 5- 1 million+

Street Fighter 4- 750,000+ (maybe more depending on controls)

Mirror's Edge- 250,000+

Assassin's Creed- 500,000+

i think all of Rare's games(besides perfect dark zero) could of sold double.

um u are quite delusional. maybe lips, ur in the movies, and any crappy party game or mini game fest. the wii isnt hardcore anymore. casuals is what sells, and those games are anything but casual. lol.

Yeah right! you think that resident evil which has already sold like 2.5 million on the HD twins (1.5 million ps3 and 1 million 360)would have sold higher on the wii? Come off that stuff you are smoking, because it has clouded your judgement. As others have already speculated, the core games sell pretty much the same on all consoles. Most games sell anywhere between 1 to 5 mill for AAA and compare this to the casual party games and heavily bundled wii fit and sport and it is no contest. The wii is home to a new demographic the non-gamer, these people do not buy hard core games like fallout3. Look at mario galaxy and check it's sales versus all those crappy carnival games and you will notice that they sold with in a couple of million of eachother. That is something that should never happen, seeing as how cheaply made the carnival games are and how much quality that galaxy has.

I dunno about that Avarice. Galaxy is over 8m now and a game like Carnival games isn't even half that. Also Re4, a port, sold 1.5 million, so RE definitely has a home on the Wii.

 Not that you actually care what I say, but he said 'sold great/fair', not 'sold better'.  I'm not even going to touch the rest of your failure-filled post.

Little big planet maybe the exception due to its high quality, but it would of been half the game it is because of the network that nintendo has. Everything is very restrictive on the nintendo side of things, what has made LBP such a gem is because of it's openness of it's infrastructure. Plus that and the fact that space is a premium on the wii (I know about the sd card expansion, but really...you still have to load data into memory to interact with game data). Little big planet has had so much DLC that it would be pretty massive to find something to hold all the updates and DLC, and if I remember correctly the wii only has 512mb on game memory to begin with so this game would be "gimped" to begin with. On the flip side even though it has sold to date a little over 2million copies, it would have sold at least twice that on the wii without any of the major updates so far. I do not know if that is bad or good considering both sides.
