Someone told me in the latest issue of Game Informer they talk about Nintendo considering a peripheral for the Wii to enhance its graphical capabilities. I have no idea how it would connect or if such an article even exists. Can someone either confirm or deny this? It sounds fishy.

It's common sense. Where would you put another peripheral that will boost it graphics wise? USB? The wii remote? It obviously can't happen.

itz ttechnically possible, as nintendo had the n64 expansion pak which made the graphics of games look better... I remember it was used with Majora's Mask...

Trouble is, I don't see any expansion slots on my Wii.
The expansion for the 64 was just added ram. It had a specific spot to plug in the added ram, they had planned that all along. The wii, nothing but a USB port. It's a really dumb rumor and isn't technically feasible. Nintendo doesn't plan on adding any expansions.
