"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.

Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi

For the people saying it's hypocrisy for the US not to want North Korea, Iran, etc., from getting nuclear weapons...

What would you suggest?

The concern is that, if everyone gets the bomb, it greatly increases the chance that some nutjob or several will fire off a nuke.  (Maybe as an official governmental action, maybe through some terrorist/private front.)  Is your argument that the world would be a better place if every nation had the big red button?

By the way, outside of like North Korea, Iran, Vietnam and maybe Libya... what major country wants those countries to become nuclear powers?  I mean, everyone seems to be treating this as though it were the United States alone holding these "rogue" nations back... but isn't it actually a United Nations thing?  Aren't all of the major European and Asian powers, for instance, solidly on board with trying to keep the weapons cabinet locked?

Or have the UK, France, India, China, etc., all agreed to immediately disarm, just as soon as the US agrees to it, and I just haven't heard?

The Japanese were ready to surrender. The Americans wanted to scare Stalin by showing them the bomb. It cost tons of lives, and only made Stalin quickly get his own bombs.

Also Akuma your ignoring the fact that the US nuclear attacks on Japan actually saved lives both American and Japanese as a US invasion would of killed a lot more soldiers on both sides...

While the other option... a bombing and blockade campaign agaisnt japan would of caused mass famine that would of rapidly depopulated Japan by up to as much as 75-80% since Japan imported most of it's food... and in addition it's food production was very centralized.

During WW2 nuclear weapons were the most humane option for all sides involved.

There was nothing "crazy" about it.

Why you make such silly arguements that I know you can't even believe in i'm not sure.

Come on dude, that's the bullshit they sell you in high school.  You know better than that.

Go ask the Japanese back then and today if nuclear weapons were the most humane option the U.S. could have used.  I don't even know if you will find much more than 50-60% of Americans who agree with that statement today.

Its easy to call something humane when the other person is the one who has to suffer for it.  The Spanish Inquisition thought they were pretty humane saving people's souls by torturing them to death.

Dude did you read the details of the plans for Japans defense?

Did you study read the details of the plans for the Japanese bombings.

I have.  So no... i'm not "buying into anything.

A US Invasion would of depopulated most of Japan as like the rest of WW2 they would of faught to the last soldier.  Any amount of research shows it was the most human option.

I do believe you owe me an apology.  Go over the plans.  Go over what would of happened and then maybe you'll be qualfied to argue it.

Has he now?

A total of 289,868 locus tests, based on 28 different protein phenotypes and using one-dimensional electrophoresis to detect variant proteins, has yielded one probable mutation in the offspring of "proximally exposed" parents, who received an estimated average gonadal exposure of 31 to 39 rem in the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. There were no mutations in 208,196 locus tests involving children of "distally exposed" parents, who had essentially no radiation exposure.

So... aproximitly 1 out of every 289,868 children who were born from people exposed has a mutation.

How many grandchildren do you think qualify?

Do some research.  There has been no scientific proof of mutations being abnormally high among people in Nagasaki and Hiroshima.  In fact all the data has shown the opposite.

You have got to be kidding me. Obama has increased the war effort expanded spending to a level never before seen in the world, and done nothing to reverse the policies of Bush (other then a few things that any Democrat would have done).

Obama and Bush are very much alike, and the areas where they are alike, Obama is a lot worse.

So I take it that you guys are all for strict gun control laws if you think it is unwise to let certain countries have nuclear weapons.

There is only a small percentage of countries who currently have nukes, so I take you guys also believe that only a small percentage of people should be allowed to have guns.

And some of you guys misrepresent what I am saying.  I am not for the spread of nuclear weapons, and would encourage getting rid of many of the weapons that already exist.  But I do think America is full of shit when it tells other countries that we are responsible enough to have these weapons and you are not.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

^^What he said.

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine

I think there should be gun laws preventing the mentally unstable from owning guns.

Does that count as strict?

Also can i get an apology for that "Crap they teach you in highschool" comment since you seem to be conceding the point and the point about nuclear mutations.
