I'm actually charmed that so many people still assume I'm a mod and they're willing to insult me because of it.

It makes me mad that someone like seece who generally makes fine fair posts is given this treatment. It's not about me though...just be nice for it to feel like everyone is treated the same..

Yeah, I suppose I should contact naz about that, but it's nothing that hasn't already been said.  His ban is fine, if you ban every person that posts stuff like him, but I see tons of people posting stuff not unlike he did, and getting away with it.  Now I'm not proclaiming bias, just that each mod has a different agenda, and other mods may not have banned him for that comment.  No mark against you Torillian, or anything, I think it was a fine mod job, just that not all of you guys are on the same page, and others would have let that go with a warning, or not done anything.  And the site collectively has had tons of conversations about how different mods moderate.  No real reason to re-has that up with Naz as it's something he's heard a million times before.

Torillian would you please edit your post to remove my quote, I apologise for any offense caused. I don't want a ban and felt like someone might actually care but obviously it's the internet and only our own opinion is important.

Yeah, those were definitely insults. Seece has a history of making anti-PS3 posts even if they seemed fair to some and unfair to others, and this latest one just wasn't fair at all. Instead of listing the reasons he thought the 360 was better in a basic comparison, it was a comment similar to "lulz the PS3 sucks."

Bans vary. Some people get banned for different reasons.

Fair enough. Maybe he had just had enough...It can be a hard fight for the evangelical new age console fighting trooper and he may have just lost his nerve for a second ;)

just because he presented it in a humurous fashion doesnt make it trolling. i prefer posts with a comical spin on it.. otherwise these forums would just be filled with stuffy boring posts.

lack of jrpg BUT THE PRESENCE OF TONS OF GREAT EXCLUSIVE

no halo BUT KZ2

then get a ps3

thats exactly my point. he made the post funny. political correctness on this site is going to make it boring. i do think we should ban people for certain things, but when people start getting banned for lighthearted comments about something a console lacks, thats when it starts to feel like mods are just being nazis.
