i wonder if they will kill ganon again :P

I can't wait for a new Zelda game, but I would also like to see a wiware Zelda game come out as well. A game similar to the Snes Zelda game would be awesome.(as well as a wiware classic Mario game of course) For a main Wii version I wouldn't mind the game taking the graphical approach of either The Wind Waker or Twilight Princess. I love both games and would love to see a similar graphical style of either one. Add more weapons/items, bump up the difficulty level, and no bug hunting or Wind Waker Triforce ocean searching that sucked!!

I think a lot of detractors forget that Twilight Princess was a GameCube game that was "retrofitted" for the Wii (and a GC version with a traditional left-handed Link was released as well).

So one thing would be to have a choice of left or right handed Link.

Also, taking the story to new places with new enemies would enrich the experience.

Another option which will not be done is to make it Zelda: The Next Generation with the offspring of Link and Zelda carrying forth to save Hyrule.

Finally, they could have Zelda "show herself off" to get an M rating (but avoid an AO). OK - this is a joke -- but I was amazed by the Princess Peach shower scene in Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door on the GC.

Yeah, that scene really surprised me, too.  To be honest, I think they did it in a way that's suitable for young audience but still shows that you never know what to expect with Nintendo.  Also, in Mario Strikers all the guys are pissed and all the girls are seducing you XD

I wanna see a 1:1 swordfighting Zelda game.

Oh, and in before "straight into the ground!"

edit: DAMMIT!

They're not shy about taking advantage of sexuality for their IPs (Zero Suit Samus, Peach and Daisy in Strikers, Peach in TTYD, Krystal), but they haven't crossed a line yet (i.e. to the point where it's blatant exploitation)

As for this, i want to see realism, or a different kind of cel-shading if they go that way (something closer to what Tales of Vesperia did. That would definitely have the best balance of style, imo). Simplify the model of Oblivion in terms of developing the world. All Bethesda games venture into the realm of needlessly complex, and Nintendo can find the good balance of "hidden depth."

Combat should have the option of Motion Plus (for certain enemies), and be laced with Context Sensitive Actions, and build on the model of Twilight Princess from there.

As for the story: they should either undo what Ocarina of Time did, and create new convergance for the story (i.e. link the Ocean world and the Hyrule Survived world), or do a back-to-basics thing that just sweeps everything off the table and starts from scratch.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

I want something unexpected, something that bears as little resemblence to Ocarina and Twilight Princess (which was just a gussied up Twilight Princess) as possible. I want a Majora's Mask/Wind Waker type curve ball thrown at us.

Majora's Mask 2

that is all

i would be horrified if Nintendo turned the next Zelda game into something madworld-esc
..

yikes that would be the worst thing ever

hello how are you.

I have a feeling that they will keep a similar look but it will be much darker in tone. I have a feeling that it will be similar to Majora's Mask.
