I think a lot of detractors forget that Twilight Princess was a GameCube game that was "retrofitted" for the Wii (and a GC version with a traditional left-handed Link was released as well).

So one thing would be to have a choice of left or right handed Link.

Also, taking the story to new places with new enemies would enrich the experience.

Another option which will not be done is to make it Zelda: The Next Generation with the offspring of Link and Zelda carrying forth to save Hyrule.

Finally, they could have Zelda "show herself off" to get an M rating (but avoid an AO). OK - this is a joke -- but I was amazed by the Princess Peach shower scene in Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door on the GC.

I am Mario.

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.

Nintendo will take it STRAIGHT INTO THE GROUND!

I don't know. The toon-style games seem to have been reserved for handhelds.

What I do know is, I've never played a bad Zelda, and I don't expect that to change.

Yeah, that scene really surprised me, too.  To be honest, I think they did it in a way that's suitable for young audience but still shows that you never know what to expect with Nintendo.  Also, in Mario Strikers all the guys are pissed and all the girls are seducing you XD

I wanna see a 1:1 swordfighting Zelda game.

Oh, and in before "straight into the ground!"

edit: DAMMIT!

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

"Ok, girl's trapped in the elevator, and the power's off.  I swear, if a zombie comes around the next corner..."

I Zelda with an art style like the new PoP would be amazing.

Oh and, the futuristic/steampunk thing too.

zelda=madworld? dear god NO!

I can take whatever as long as it's not on-rails, first person or turn-based

It needs to look realistic and NOT cartoony... I just can't take cartoony games serious. I think Zelda is more of a serious game then SMG,SSBB, MKW,etc...
It's ok for them to do a cartoony look on the ds bc realistic gfx don't look to well on it.

I'd rather play a cartoony metroid prime then a cartoony zelda on a console

Steam fantasy, with giant machine puzzles and steam powered enemies.

Steam punk usually implies a victorian influence, I'd rather see a sort of "if the ancients had moved forward with steam power" kind of thing.
