Forums - Nintendo - Even Wired thinks Sony's PR Spin on DSi is "crazy talk"

Yeah but you still lost 25% as well, and you exert self control. (<_<)|(>_>) I may lose more, but you lost for nothing.

I can't believe you're not upset with a 25% loss of battery life. Even if you never play any of the new games, and only bought it because they don't sell dslites anymore, You just bought a dslite with 25% less battery time and 50% more expensive.

No offense, but a PSP fan has no right to complain about battery life on the DS.

So far, for me, there worst PR statement was Jack Tretton saying the Wii has no backwards compatibility. Actually he more or less implied it, because he said (along the lines of) "if you look at our competition there is one who has a third of it's previous library that's backwards compatible and another who has no backwards compatibility."

As I said when this was posted as news, I really don't take ANY PR statements seriously.

Well, the Wii is just Gamecube 2.0, so Gamecube compatibility isn't really backwards compatiblity.

My advice to fanboys: Brag about stuff that's true, not about stuff that's false. Predict stuff that's likely, not stuff that's unlikely. You will be happier, and we will be happier.

Considering the DS is well on its way to being the top selling platform ever, is there really a missing demographic left?

OMG NINTENDO IS SO KITTY

Complexity is not depth. Machismo is not maturity. Obsession is not dedication. Tedium is not challenge. Support gaming: support the Wii.

What do I hate about modern gaming? I hate tedium replacing challenge, complexity replacing depth, and domination replacing entertainment. I hate the outsourcing of mechanics to physics textbooks, art direction to photocopiers, and story to cheap Hollywood screenwriters. I hate the confusion of obsession with dedication, style with substance, new with gimmicky, old with obsolete, new with evolutionary, and old with time-tested.
There is much to hate about modern gaming. That is why I support the Wii.

^ Let's see the PSP infiltrate the feline gaming market.

My mistake.  I thought somewhere you said you had a PSP.  It must have been someone else, but all you sony fans look alike (I kid, don't shoot me... lol)

I only own the best consoles ^^

"Rock Band Unplugged from MTV Games, Assassin's Creed from Ubisoft, Dissidia Final Fantasy from Square Enix, and Hannah Montana from Disney demonstrate the commitment that publishers have to the PSP."

Wow! He doesn't know there are two versions of Guitar Hero for DS. Also, he has never heard of Assassin's Creed DS. Oh! How could he ignore the fact that there are several Final Fantasy titles available oon DS? Hmm, Hannah Montana? Does it count? Well, if it does, then he must remember that DS has at least two of titles of this franchise.

The guy is a genius.

Awesome trailer for the new Ganbare Goemon game, to be released in March, 2009 for... Well, it's a Pachinko machine with a display. Oh, God.
