Of course. Feels like alot less of a hassle then messages... yo don't get bored as easily.

I always seem to have more to say when typing than when speaking. Don't know why, exactly. I also seem to be able to better formulate my thoughts when typing than speaking, too (lots of errs and uhhs and "likes" when i speak)

text chat ios a lot more esier that messeging.......ive noticed when in game ur buddies messege appears on sceen.........i hope they let u type till end of line in next update.

One of the advantages of text over speaking is that it takes more time for thoughts to process into text than it does for thoughts to process into spoken word. Meaning that you can have far more meaningful text conversations simply because you are not working at a pace roughly the same as your spontaneous thought rate. It makes rapid communication trickier unless you're a very good typist, but it also makes for more meaningful conversation. Plus (and this is my biggest reason for preferring text over speech), using text means you can use the Backspace key. You cannot un-say what is said, but you sure as hell can un-type what is typed before you hit Enter.

text chat is for those who need time to respond

voice chat is for those who think fast or just speak random.

i like text chat on my phone, but prefer voice chat on my games.

text chat is awesome, i dont know why people are saying it is useless
