I'd say Call of Duty 4. Apart from getting tired of World War II shooters, I liked the experience of Call of Duty 4 more than 5.

From many of the set pieces to the storyline, COD4 was a better game in my opinion.

 Lol...I agree.  It's no fun unless you are the one driving the tanks doing the blowing up.

World at War is so much better than CoD4.

I always prefer WW2. It was the best war in history.

Ugg...I'll assume by Call of Duty 5 you mean Call of Duty: World at War.

And to answer your question Call of Duty 4 is so much better. World at War didn't do anything new for the series, it just leeched off of CoD4's success. In fact it went backwards, back to WWII which everyone is sick of.

COD4 by a country mile

CoD4 is just miles better, but WaW is still a good game, but it is just not quite as good as 4. It does very similar things, but just not as well, and I also did not really like the inclusion of tanks in MP, leave vehicle combat to Warhawk and Battlefield
