Forums - Nintendo - Wii: The console for survival horror.

I have been looking at the future horror titles that are coming for the current consoles and Wii is the winner:

Dead Space Extraction

Fatal Frame 4

Resident Evil : The Darkside Chronicle

Cursed Mountain

Silent Hill: Shattered Memories

Sadness??

Winter??

Which one do you think will get higher reviews? And which one will sell the best?

I think Resident Evil will sell only for the brand name while cursed mountain will bomb because is a new an unknown IP.

I am really lookin' forward to Fatal Frame 4 and the new Silent Hill. I loved this last game on the PSX, it was far away more scaring than Resident Evil and the atmosphere was just incredibly creepy.

Looking forward for Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicle and Fatal Frame 4.
Using motion sensor control in Fatal Frame 4 is definitely an interesting way to snap those ghosts.

lol Sadness.

Yeah, Wii's getting a lot of horror games...

To answer your questions:
Highest sells: Resident Evil
Highest reviews: Hard to tell, but I think it can be Silent Hill

I think they said that Fatal Frame 4 didn't use motion controls to move the camera around the screen, does anyone knows if this was true?

I hope winter finds a publisher. And it would be great if sadness released this year.

Also, inb4residentevildeadspacearenothorror!!!!1111!!!!!

"Pier was a chef, a gifted and respected chef who made millions selling his dishes to the residents of New York City and Boston, he even had a famous jingle playing in those cities that everyone knew by heart. He also had a restaurant in Los Angeles, but not expecting LA to have such a massive population he only used his name on that restaurant and left it to his least capable and cheapest chefs. While his New York restaurant sold kobe beef for $100 and his Boston restaurant sold lobster for $50, his LA restaurant sold cheap hotdogs for $30. Initially these hot dogs sold fairly well because residents of los angeles were starving for good food and hoped that the famous name would denote a high quality, but most were disappointed with what they ate. Seeing the success of his cheap hot dogs in LA, Pier thought "why bother giving Los Angeles quality meats when I can oversell them on cheap hotdogs forever, and since I don't care about the product anyways, why bother advertising them? So Pier continued to only sell cheap hotdogs in LA and was surprised to see that they no longer sold. Pier's conclusion? Residents of Los Angeles don't like food."

"The so-called "hardcore" gamer is a marketing brainwashed, innovation shunting, self-righteous idiot who pays videogame makers far too much money than what is delivered."

There are no news about Sadness, so at the moment it is vaporware

I think you are forgotting LIT for Wiiware.

And Winter actually is on 2.0 version, will be shown on the E3, and I thin N space has already found a publisher.

One of my favorite genres.

Survival Horror is as hardcore as it gets!

i love survival horror too, not sure how well it'll be on the wii.
