The game is in production for the PSP, it was originally for mobile phones but SE changed their mind due to mobile technology not being advanced enough but we all know it is due to PSP sales being immense in Japan. Game takes place in a magic school, characters actually become the summons and the game will have online play. Yes that's right the handheld version will have online while the console versions with probably 20x the budget (pulled that number out my ass) will not. :/

So predict lifetime Agito sales, me first:

Japan: 1.5 million

NA: 900k

EU: 700k

WW = 3.1 million

Edit - Crisis core did pretty darn well in NA and EU :O

I am sure online will be similar to MH so I predict very high sales in Japan, higher then FFXIII and Versus. NA and EU numbers low simply because software sales in those regions are low however if those announced PSP games release before Agito in those regions easily add another 300k sales to the total. It will tear apart Dissidia sales with that being one bold prediction I am willing to make.

I think it has a potential to easily outsell Crisis Core (recently passed 2m), especially since it's a Monster Hunter clone, and (according to Square Enix) a part of the main series.

RPG, I reckon your NA and EU numbers are too conservative.

I predict >3m WW sales, but it's hard to be specific right now.

RPG, Crisis Core is the gift that keeps on giving for Square Enix. Not only did it sell well, but all of these upcoming PSP games are running on enhanced Crisis Core engine as well.

I think it'll sell less than that in EU, RPG, but more in America.
