I think over time we will slowly see all electronic entertainment devices morph into Wii competitors. The Wii has changed the industry.

I don't think anyone is claiming PS2 will get close to outselling the Wii, but it could siphon some potential sales in the low-end/casual segments of the market.

I love how you are all arguing over which system has more "fun" games, as if what you say is fact and absolute.

first of all, many people are claiming that the ps2 lybrary is the best... and saying things like stupid to someone who founds the wii lybrary better.. that's unacceptable, a game's quality is subjective, so if there's a person who founds ngage games better than snes games, we have to accept it..

PS2 game selection destroys 360, PS3 and Wii combined as of right now. Plus Wii will never receive some great games the PS2 had (Hell even the Xbox and GC are more up there than any of the new consoles). I have no doubt this generation of systems will get too that point but not right now. Give it a few more years and then we can talk buddy.

To everyone that is hating the PS2. I'm sorry you were the dumbasses who went out and bought shovelware and shitty games. The PS2 library is great no matter what way you look at it. Just like every damn system except a handfull all have a great library of Games. Here is a list of the systems that have the greatest games of all time collectively. No order.

Anything Atari
Anything Nintendo
Anything Sony
Anything Microsoft
Anything Sega
Anything PC
Any system that has ever released more than 100 games most likely.

You see this list. It is all subjective to which is the best because that is a personal decision.

I think that's going to hurt the PS3 more because they are from the same company and they would prefer have a new PS2 for $100 than a PS3 for $400.
