2 Okey - you misspelled 4. we cherry picked 4 games.

And these 3 that I mentioned are 3 of the games frequently cherry picked by PS360 fanboys to prove that the Wii cannot sell core games. I however have just shown that they are selling very well, infact often outselling similar games on the PS2

If a game has no data, it is fairly safe to assume that it did not sell very well at all

How exactly are you defining "niche" games?

Case in question, I expect Platinum to outsell MadWorld with Bayonetta.

And as for Okami, weird comparison. On one hand there was a much bigger PS2 install base, but on the other hand the PS2 150k number is Japan only - or am I reading it wrong in the game database?

Edit:

Btw, why didn't you pit MadWorld against God Hand? It was by Clover, and it's much in the same spirit.

Again, I don't think we have complete sales data for God Hand as I only see Japan numbers, but since it sold 38k first week in Japan I think we can say MadWorld is undertracking God Hand to date?

I bet if madworld had Mario as the main character, the title would have sold a million within the first month, no matter how lame it was.

 Theres actually 5 colours.

Red for the blood, Black and White for just about everthing else, Yellow for the text and a Greenish colour for the alien blood.

I'm sure there are some Gameboy games that fit your discription that have respectable sales numbers.

Well Haze sold 730k

Ok it has a few more colors but I don't think the campaign is that much longer ....



PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !

According to the data on that thread, Fatal Frame IV looks very likely to have outsold the PS2 Fatal Frame games in Japan.

Very weak argument.. That's what I'm seeing here, however I have noticed this trend.. You just have to pick out other games.. Perhaps compare Onechanbara to the 360 version?
