It's actually simple. All the new games we are seeing are games that have been in development for years commng to fruition. If 2007 was 360s golden year then add another year for PS3 being a year younger plus a year for harder to develop for. There you go PS3 lineup pwning in 09.

As for the 360 jrpg ports for how long can these games not sell shit in Japan before they go to PS3? The answer: as soon as the contract runs out.

in some cases X360 timed exclusivity is working in PS3's favour.

Like ninja gaiden 2 was like a full scale beta demo for X360 owners to work out all the problems for PS3 version. and add online co-op :P

Sony thinks they will make a profit on the games in the end, so they decided to make many games in order to make more money.

I am glad to see Sony trying to get more buyers by making more games and not buy cutting the price. The price is fine, for now

no ones talking about the games being system seller. and there is no reason to downplay the games just cause they are on the 360 in some fashion. more games to play is always a good thing

The thread directly implies that Sony has in some way pulled rabbits out of a hat despite their troubled financial state in order to produce announcements of high quality expensive games.

The fact that most of them are third party ports of games that already exist is pretty relevant.

Maybe it's thanks to them slashing the price of dev kits by 80% ?

This might be incentive only for very small studios working on PSN titles for someone like EA or Ubi cost diffrence is insignifican't
