Forums - Sales - Can Wii/DS outsell the entire previous generation?

So currently the Wii and DS combined have sold roughly 150 million.

 

Last generation, PS2, GC, xbox, and GBA combined sold roughly 255 million.

 

I think by the time PS2 stops selling that figure will be about 265 million. So currently the Wii/DS need to sell 115 million to catch up? think it's possible?

Personally I think Wii/DS could surpass 300 million combiend sales by the time they both stop selling.

maybe, the PS2 alone will likely outsell the PS1 generation (consoles)
