If you believe that Factor 5 has closed down, then you are wrong. The core team is now employed at Factor 5 GmbH and still works on their Wii projects, which will be announced in the coming months as it was said yesterday.

Now where does it say they are have several Wii games in the works? That's right, nowhere. :p

Yes, it's to be expected they've got somthing on the way for Wii, but honestly, that's not what that press release says, at all. That's only guessing.

I already heard of Factor 5 closing, but nobody told me anything of Factor 5 GmbH. Thanks a lot Kotaku...

Factor 5 GmbH has not released or developed any games on its own for more than a decade now. It is a fully fledged studio just since last December when they acquired the remains of Factor 5 Inc.

That's also why their Wii project(s) was (were) not cancelled and as a result Factor 5 is able to announce them in the coming months (to be more specific: Nintendo is able to announce one of them, but you will see about that in June...).

Be wary of Kotaku, they can be sketchy at times.

Oh I thought it was common knowledge that Kotaku, Luke Plunkett in particular, hates the Wii.
