Wii: 110-130 mil. --- 47-56%
PS3: 70-80 mil. --- 29-36%
360: 30-40 mil. --- 13-18%
I think that the market will grow considerably this generation, mostly because of the Wii and games like WiiFit, but also because of the ps3. I know many home theater guys (I'm an avid poster on AVSforum.com) who bought a ps3 because it was a cheap Blu-Ray player (one of the best players, actually, despite it's lower price), and they've begun picking up a game here and there, just because they can. They are actually becoming quite avid games, and are convincing other HT guys they know to pick up the system, primarily because of all it can do (stream content from the pc, play movies, upscale DVDs, etc.), but also the games are fun.
So, overall, I'm expecting there to be easily over 200 mil. consoles sold this generation, possibly going as high as 230 or even 250 mil., compared to, what, 170 mil. last gen?
