Between the second half of 2007 and the First half of 2008 Nintendo will have released Metroid Prime 3, Super Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Mario Kart ... 4 games with a proven track record of getting high review scores and selling Millions of copies; three of those games have always scored higher than 90% and 3 of those games have always sold more than 5 Million copies.

 

 


Just because the wii is getting a hand full of games doesn't suddenly mean it is getting more or better games than the competition. Just for the second half of 2007 the 360 games that the wii doesnt have:

How do you define quality games? 1) Average rating on gamerankings/metacritic or 2) personal opinion?

If 1) No
If 2) No


Games that review well. If you happen to like games that review badly then good for you, you just have poor taste in gaming that's all.

Metroid Prime 3, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Super Mario Galaxy, Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles, Man Hunt 2, and Soul Calibur Legends for 2007 (with high hopes for Mario and Sonic Olympics, Harvest Moon, and Batallion Wars 2)

Mario Kart, Final Fantasy Chrystal Chronicles, Animal Crossing, Disaster: Day of Crisis, and Dragon Quest Swords for 2008 (at the moment)


Metroid prime, smash brothers and mario galazy are proven games and will score and sell well. Resident evil umbrella chronicles is unproven, is not a proper resident evil game and is only a gun game like Res dead aim which scored poorly. Manhunt 2 - a sequal to a game that only had average reviews, soul calibur legends - again a spin off of the main series and is unproven.

As for your 2008 list, mario kart, ff cc and animal crossing are proven good games. Disaster day of crisis is uproven and nobody is talking about it like it is some amazing AAA game and dragon quest swords already came out in japan and it is another spin off that isnt as good as the main series.

Sorry to burst your bubble but most of those 360/ps3 games listed will score 8 out of 10 or better with one third to half of them scoring 9 out of 10 or more.

When on average worldwide each of those games will sell atleast 200,000 then yeah they matter. That's like saying zack and wiki doesnt matter because nobody cares about that 'crap'.
