Hi there, I am a proud owner of the Xbox 360 and I like playing games. I consider the Wii in general to not really be a games console although I would like to "like" it. My negative attitude towards it gets cemented every time I am forced to have a go with the "pointy" device thingy and play stupid mini games like;
Bowling
Boxing
Tennis
Etc...
I want a real gaming experience, story, depth etc. Not a 5 min blast before I go out and do something else.
I may be wrong but it is my impression that the Wii games lineup is primarily collections of poorly crafted mini games in a box selling for a high price. That being said I really would like to play some more of the "proper" games....i.e Super Mario Galaxy and any Zelda game (provided I can use a control pad at some point)...
Please convince me to waste £200 on a Wii
Please recommend me some games to get (around 9-10) That I may enjoy. I'm not up for all the gimmicky controls that's all...I don't mind them if they genuinely add something to the experience and are pulled of well so what when you use them you are actually using your skill.
Is there anyway I can fall in love with the Wii...Everyone else loves it and it just makes me dislike it more because I think it's changing the video game industry for the worse.
Please help :)
This is not a troll post, I'm sure there are others like me who haven't given it a chance because they've jumped to conclusions. I would really like to know if those conclusions I have jumped to are valid? Or maybe I could like it.
Thanks :)
