Forums - Gaming - NEW Brett vs CRYSIS GRAPHICS comparsion (Crysis killer?)

None of that, except the Crysis beach pic, was in a game.  They are 3D models...nothing more.  NOTHING a consumer can buy would play a POTENTIAL game like that as anything other than a video...period.  This is just PC fanboy dreaming.

"Brett: The Game" is an in-joke on VGChartz, named after the owner of the site. The horse on the beach isn't even a rendering, it's just a photograph.

So is this the sequel to ioi? Or just a spiritual succesor?

Also, lmao at Ascended_Saiyan3 for thinking that horse was a 3D model

Crusty VGchartz old timer who sporadically returns & posts. Let's debate nebulous shit and expand our perpectives. Or whatever.

If Brett sees this thread, Khuutra is getting 'the ban'.

Tease.

I just... I would just rather not see noobies miss out on the in-jokes any longer than they have to, ya know?

They have it hard enough as-is

Not even OnLive can handle Brett on its highest settings. Resistance is futile, cower before its greatness!

Seriously though, I'm sick of these threads. The experience ("game" cannot fully describe Brett in its entirety) has been out since December and every day we see futile comparisons (whether it be graphics, gameplay, spirituality, etc.). Now I'm even starting to feel bad for the poor game that tries to compare itself to the greatness that is Brett.

Oh Crysis... you poor, poor bastard.

I examined the first two pics and then looked at the link for the Crysis beach.  After that I assumed the last pic was a high end 3D model as well and didn't give it more than a passing glance.  With the title, it pointed to a fanboy's dream of "the secret gaming power of PCs".

I did a quick Google search for "Brett" but didn't find anything.  Though, that wouldn't be the first time a search came back negative for a game being created.  There was not feasible way for me to know "Brett: The Game" was a joke.  Thanks for making me aware.

I did nothing more than glance over the pic, since it was the last one.  I looked closer at the first two.
