Anyone else watch that segment where they put a ps3 in a 160 or so degree room and it ran fine?

My dad felt sorry for me so I got an X360 Elite too!(But im not to happy about that so lets forget about it XD)[And yes I am big time spoiled].

when i read the first post omg i fell over laughing. sony has always had mediocre hardware. i still think that is one of the reasons nintendo went away from the cdrom deal back when the snes was popular. cause the cdrom sony made was too fragile for nintendo's taste. in fact to prove this fact i rented a psone and it broke while i was playing it and blockbuster took it back and said they get alot of those back. and that was back in teh day.

I've been dreading this happening to mine, so I clean is obsessively. I went through three PS2s (pieces of crap) and I had an RROD with my 360... But those had memory cards and removable hard drives, so no biggy. Sony can f*ck right off if this beast breaks down and they don't repair it.

My 'new' ps3 that Sony sent to me after it YLODed, repeated that same feat after 6 days in action and is with them again right now. I wonder how you'd react if your new ps3 did the same thing.

Wow... a 60gb, that must hurt. I'm also fearful that my PS3 will crap out on me, because it gets VEEEERY LOUD, sounds like a jet plane is about to take off (my house is very hot). Sometimes I get really scared because I've had my 60gb since launch so I have no warranty, and theres no more PS3s with BC AND not to mention that I dont have the cash to blow on another PS3.

Don't fret - my 60GB died last week, and I got it back in less than a week (my 60GB). Sony has earned a new level of respect from me.
