I guess it could be argued that Zen was self-admittedly trolling and didn't put up as strong a defense as he could have; but on the other hand doesn't that basically mean that Khuutra got Zen to yield the entire argument?

I still remember our first Global Warming debate...that one went on for quite a while =P The two of us pretty much were the thread after a point and I think everyone else stopped even trying to keep up with it. I'd nominate you for that debate alone, but there have been many many good examples since then as well.
Actually at one point I PM'd Final-Fan about helping me write some rules for debate threads for VGC and have it so an OP could designate a thread as a debate topic which would have rules to keep people in a typical debate framework of point counterpoint and forcing people to either address or concede a point when it's made by their opponent, etc...Of course I would have had to get it greenlit by Brett still...it was around the time I was made a mod and it seemed less important as a result.

I was thinking of that too when I thought of you. We've had quite a few good ones. The last really memorable one for me was probably when Kasz216 and I locked horns over drunken driving and settled it with d20 simulations. We freaked out the Ghost of RubangB.

I post mostly in the off topic section, so I am not qualified to rank those who post in the gaming forums. For those who post in the off topic section, there a few competent, if not adept, debaters-Kasz, Akuma, and a few others.
