It would be epic if there were PS2 games available on the PSN. I still am a little disappointed in the absence of more PS1 gmaes on the PSN.

this is from an insider after debugging the new firmware(devs already have access to this FW)

That can't be real....can it? That would probably make sense as to why the PS2 is dropping down to $99 dollars but I don't know. I want to wait until Tuesday. I know Sony said they wanted to look into it a while back.

 

 

he refused to comment anymore.

 

he said there is a strong chance of it happening ,,,maybe not this tuesday but he was sure that it's happening.

Well the day BC is reintroduced Sony needs to strike hard and make most of their first party PS2 title available on PSN at the same time....

 

Personally my PS3 already has BC but I could be tempted in trying some old JRPG if they became available on PSN ( the PS2 Suidokens for example).



PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !

It would explain why Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 (a PS2 game) is on the esrb site for the 360 and the PS3...

I just want to make my statement more clear.

PS3 price drop, No.

PS2 B/C > PS3 price drop

To me, PS2 games on PSN is more exiting than any game/price announcemnet that they could make. There are quite a few PS2 games that I would love to get on my HDD, and I would love to give my current disc based library to charity if they were to do this.
