First off he's from the U.K.
Second, and more importantly, he's James Bond. Dressing up in blue tights immediately takes points away from his coolness factor. Could you imagine the guy in my avatar dressing up like Captain America? I didn't think so.

Physically, he's a dead ringer for what Steve Rogers should look like. Dunno about the voice, though. I can't recall ever hearing him speak in an American accent.
