Alright, in that case I strongly recommend Okami (if you haven't played it already), Twilight Princess (ditto), Metroid Prime 3, Tales of Symphonia, and Madworld. If you like light-gun shooters, add in Overkill and Umbrella Chronicles.
I'd also look into Onslaught on WiiWare. Other good WiiWare titles are Crystal Chronicles, Cubello, World of Goo (puzzle game), and especially bit.trip.beat.
If you're willing to go retro, you'll find many of the best platformers and RPGs ever made on the Virtual Console: let me know if you're interested in what will be a very long, very high-quality, and yet still very affordable list.
Also let me know if you're willing to branch out into other genres a bit. There's some interesting titles that can be found for cheap now, but that don't really fit into the genres you listed.
Edit: I somehow forgot Resident Evil 4! Make sure to at least rent it, even if you've already played it before, as the new control scheme makes it that much more sublime.
