While the game seemed pretty cool.

It just seemed like another game that will get old after about 15 minutes. Like Force Unleashed. And that trailer was especially lame.

Given the history, I think I'll opt for InFamous over this. But I have similar concerns for both.

i think the trailer pretty much summed up the entire game, which is a bad move for the developers.

The physics engine looks like complete shit in that game. You blast a helicopter and it drops straight to the grounds, the impact doesn't even push it back. In other parts of the video, explosions push the character back but his feet don't detach from the ground so it looks like he's ice skating. The graphics looks like a decent PS2 game. And the gameplay looks like a 10 year old designed it with what he thought would be the coolest game ever.

I don't know if the game will be good or not, but from this trailer all signs point to sucking.

Uhm are you sure it's not because the 360 has 8+million more users? And ignoring the fact that Street Fighter IV, Devil May Cry 4, Fifa Soccer, PES Soccer, Resident Evil 5 and I'm sure other games have actually sold better on the PS3?

I find it funny that you guys shout bias just because my opinion differs from yours.
Guess what, people have differing opinions on what's "fun".
Hell give me info on the next main Suikoden and I'll be more hyped for it than Final Fantasy XIII and XIII versus.
Emphasis on versus before you tell me XIII is multiplat, hence why I'm not hyped for it..

prove it. link or it didnt happenn ;) To be honest yh i think Infamous is going to be more polished. better graphics, story. way more tech impressive and that too plus a good dev team is behind it. the thing thats fucks me off with it though is that you only have one power you can use. That being said i think infamous will get boring quick. prototype is going to have more replay value in my opinion. i will be content in just running aroud killing everyone in it. I used to be really hyped for infamous but when i discovered it was like a fps but you shoot electric out you hand i was like oh na man. :( For once sony is going to be outdone by a 3rd party dev Each and everyone to the own though.

Im not bias,i heard people say they would buy PS Exclusives over multiplats,just cause there exclusives.

And how many more games sold better on 360? I cant count.

 

It is like that,if the game isnt PS3 exclusive it isnt getting alot of hype unless its from logical PS fans or 360 fans.

No, I prefer Infamous because it looks more like my type of game.  It looks to have a stronger narrative, and I prefer it's "superpowers" over doing crap like destroying a tank with a People's Elbow.  I also never I never liked Hulk: Ultimate Destruction.  Prototype looks like it'll be like Crackdown or Assassin's Creed.  It'll look badass, but it'll have little substance.

I was sold on Crackdown after the demo.  Screw the Halo 3 beta that was included, the demo was fantastic.  Little did I realize that the demo was basically the whole game, with a time limit.  The game was so boring and repetitive even though it managed to do a lot of things really well.  Ditto with Assassin's Creed.  Saw my friend playing it, bought it, and regretted it after the first hour.
