Yea it needs online hope it does. I remember playing Armageddon back in the day, the sheep and the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch were my favorite weapons.

The game is gonna rock in 2D, the wii-mote is perfect for adjusting the trajectory of your shot.

i played uncountable hours of worms 1 & 2 on the pc.
But i also liked to play 3d worms with my friends during the last years (Worms 3d on GC, Worms 4 on PS2)
I know they're not as ingenious as the 2d versions were (also they were VERY buggy). But nevertheless I like them and to be honest I think the advantage of the wiimote controller would mostly pay off in 3d.
I mean aiming would be very direct in 3d but i can't really imagine it in 2d...
